The village is at the feet of the stunning Grivola, Gran Nomenon and Punta Trajo, and is a convenient base for day walks, multi-day trekking, cycling, rock climbing and mountaineering in summer, and in winter ski touring and cross-country skiing, and ice climbing. The downhill ski stations of Pila and Cogne are nearby.
